Emails Seem to be Missing in Outlook
By default, Outlook shows emails only from the last 12 months. This is to keep the backend database lean and tidy to help with functions like search.
If you frequently access emails older than a year, you can change the view in your account settings. To do this
- In Outlook, go to File
- Click Accounts settings
- In the dropdown, click Accounts Settings
- In the new window, double-click your email address
- Move the slider to set the period you prefer
- Click Next
- Click Done
- Restart Outlook
